A pair of brothers from Clovis who sell their clothing at Nordstrom are opening a pop-up boutique for the holidays in Fresno.
The Laundry Room at Fig Garden Village opens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday between Lululemon and Madewell. It will be there for three months.
The store sells comfy lounge wear, like sweatsuits, slouchy sweatshirts and turtleneck dresses with hoods. It’s a line of clothing that pairs well with leggings, said Joey Pauline, a Clovis High grad started the business with his brother Jonah.
The front portion of the store will sell their new collection of clothing for prices ranging between $39 and $128. The back portion of the store will be a miniature outlet store, with discounted versions of their clothing.

Joey Pauline designs almost all the clothing. Their line at Nordstrom includes a sweatshirt that says “airplane mode” and a top reminiscent of a priority mail label that says “Priority female.”
The brothers were thrilled when musical powerhouse Beyoncé started wearing their clothing and sharing pictures of it on her website.
Neither brother lives in the Fresno area anymore, though the fulfillment and distribution center is based in Fresno.
The pair launched their brand in Fresno years ago. They once owned The Laundry Room, a store at Palm and Nees avenues, and Libertine at Champlain Drive and Perrin Avenue.
They left the area, but still are connected to it.
“Jonah & I promised one another that we’d never forget the city that built our brand and when the time was right that we’d open a beautiful store that Fresno could be proud to call their own,” Joey Pauline said via email.
After its 6 a.m. opening on Black Friday, The Laundry Room will generally be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
