Five Dutch Bros. apparently not enough for Fresno area, so sixth one being built
A new Dutch Bros. Coffee is under construction in northwest Fresno – and coffee lovers in Clovis may have reason to hope, too.
The new Fresno Dutch Bros. location is being built near the northeast corner of Palm and Herndon avenues. It will open on the end of a larger building under construction just south of CarMax.
The Dutch Bros. will have a drive-thru and indoor seating, similar to the West Shaw Avenue location.
The coffee drive-thrus have armies of fans who don’t mind lining up in their cars to wait for a snickerdoodle mocha or a Blue Rebel energy drink.
But they will have to be patient. The Fresno location won’t open until sometime around late March, says franchisee and owner Brent Wilson.
It will be the sixth Dutch Bros in the area – all in Fresno – with more in the works.
Whenever there is news of a new Dutch Bros. opening, customers who live and work in Clovis often ask: What about us?
“Let’s just say Clovis is hopefully next,” Wilson said, without giving further details.
“Clovis will be sometime in 2018 and I think that’s it for right now.”
