Prizes, discounts at remodeled Fresno Denny’s Jan. 8

The newly remodeled Denny’s at Herndon and Blackstone avenues is celebrating with discounted prices and prizes Friday, Jan. 8.

From 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. that day, the restaurant at 30 Herndon Ave. will sell Denny’s Original Grand Slams – two pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and sausage links – for $2.99. The Super Bird turkey, swiss and bacon sandwich will be available for $3.99 and the country fried steak dinner for $5.99.

Denny’s will give out hundreds of prizes that day, including free cups of its new signature coffee blends for a month with the purchase of a limited-edition Denny’s mug.

The extensive remodel includes updated booths, chairs, tables, a new floor, a fresh coat of paint and landscaping. There is also a mural featuring Fresno.
