The Young Chefs Academy of Fresno will host a Back To School Open House on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event is free and will feature a hands-on cooking demonstrations for the children.

P*DE*Q will also host a cooking station and treats will be available from Le Parisien Bakery. Parents can also enjoy free back massages for adults and raffle prizes.

Shayna Telesmanic, owner of Fresno’s Young Chefs Academy, is also working in partnership with The Bar Method Fresno to teach a class for busy parents. The class will focus on teaching recipes for quick & easy weeknight meals. The class is $40 and will be taught on Sept. 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Young Chefs Academy, 1134 E Champlain Dr., Suite 101, Fresno.
