Clif Builders Introduces New White Fudge Oreo-Flavored Protein Bar

There's nothing quite like the delicate crunch and rich cream filling of a classic Oreo cookie.

Delivering the signature balance between chocolate and vanilla that millions of consumers know and love, Oreo cookies remain the go-to treat for thousands of families across the globe for a reason.

As delicious as they undoubtedly are, there's also no question the sweet treats aren't exactly the ideal snack to have either before or after a trip to the gym. That is, until recently, anyway...

According to a recent story from Allrecipes, the popular protein bar brand Clif Builders has partnered with Oreo to bring out a brand-new flavor inspired by the iconic cookie.

This flavor, officially dubbed the White Fudge Oreo-Flavored Protein Bar, specifically takes inspiration from the fan-favorite white fudge-covered Oreo cookies that shoppers often cite as one of the brand's most popular flavors.

The new treat features a base of rich, crunchy chocolate bits covered in a glossy cream coating and a generous ribbon of dark cocoa drizzle. But perhaps the best part about the whole thing is that it features 20 grams of plant-based protein and healthy carbohydrates, making it an excellent snack to have on hand for any strenuous activity you have planned.

Of course, many of the product reviews for the new protein bar have wound up being overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with many favorably likening the bar to an actual Oreo cookie.

"WOW - this flavor is a serious treat! If you love sweet snacks with a little indulgence, the White Fudge Oreo Clif Bar does not disappoint. The white fudge and Oreo-inspired swirls make it taste more like a dessert bar than a typical energy snack - rich, creamy, and super satisfying," one fan wrote in the product review section of Clif Bars' website.

"The Clif Builders Protein Bar in White Fudge Oreo tastes delicious and actually keeps me satisfied," wrote another user. "The flavor is such a fun twist - that creamy white fudge with crunchy Oreo-like bits feels indulgent without being too sweet or heavy. It almost tastes like dessert in a snack bar form, but with real purpose behind it."
