Bush's Baked Beans just revealed three unexpected summer flavors that may be worth bringing to the next cookout.

With summer flavors on everyone's mind, the brand leaned into nostalgia for its latest canned drop - and the results may not be what you expect.

First up is Bush's Dill Pickle Baked Beans, which the brand says leans into the "pickle food trend," especially as 20% of Gen Zers express their love for pickled-flavored items.

The pickle profile does tend to elevate anything from sandwiches to burgers and even pizza, so there's really no reason why it wouldn't also work in baked beans.

"With their tangy, dill pickle sauce, these beans bring an unexpected zesty flavor to the BBQ spread, inspired by this phenomenon," the press release notes.

The next two may raise eyebrows, as they combine baked beans with two staple American comfort desserts.

Bush's Apple Pie Baked Beans blends "warm spices, brown sugar and sweet apple" for this "dessert-inspired twist that adds a warm, cozy surprise to every bite."

And finally, the one that will likely stop you in your tracks is the Bush's Rocket Pop Baked Beans, which takes its inspiration from the beloved popsicle flavor.

"With sweet pops of cherry, lime and blue raspberry, these playful beans bring a nostalgic, firework-like burst of flavor to the cookout," the release notes.

One thing is for certain, Bush's has remixed nostaglic summer treats into a new form to kick off summer cookouts properly.

And these are the ideal addition to any celebration this year for America 250, the 250th anniversary of the United States signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

All three flavors are available in stores now.
