“The journey to becoming a Chick-fil-A local owner-0perator has been both humbling and incredibly rewarding,” said McKinnon in a statement. “At this restaurant, my goal is to serve others with care while building meaningful relationships with my team members and the Tulare community.”

To celebrate the restaurant’s arrival in the “co-moo-nity,“ McKinnon invites customers to show off their “spots” at a Moove-In Party as part of Thursday’s opening day festivities to receive a free entrée or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru throughout the day.

The restaurant is also participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits. In honor of the new restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc., donated $25,000 to the Central California Food Bank, a Feeding America partner, to support local hunger relief efforts.

A Chick-fil-A is under construction in Clovis and will be located at 560 W Shaw Ave. The opening date has yet to be announced. Chick-fil-A has two restaurants in Fresno, two in Bakersfield and two in Manteca.
