Little Debbie Donut Line That's ‘Consistently Selling Out' Gets Its First New Flavor

Recently, fans have been treated to a first-ever ice cream bar version of its iconic Oatmeal Creme Pies, as well as a new Soft Baked cookie line and spring-inspired renditions of fan favorites. Now, Parade has learned that Little Debbie is addressing fans' "deep hunger for bakery-style classics" with another newcomer, one that's the perfect combination of "nostalgic texture and modern convenience."
On Tuesday, McKee Foods-the parent company of Little Debbie-announced that its new Chocolate Old Fashioned Donuts would arrive in stores soon.
"We saw an incredible response to the Old Fashioned Donut we introduced last year," Scott Brownlow, brand manager at Little Debbie, explained in a statement talking about the brand's June 2025 release, which the company later added that it has seen "exceptional retail performance" and has been "consistently selling out."
"We're doubling down on what works and giving both loyalists and new fans an irresistible reason to head back to the store," Brownlow added.
Little Debbie Expands Old Fashioned Donut Lineup With New Chocolate Flavor
Little Debbie's new Chocolate Old Fashioned Donut combines the brand's rich chocolate flavor profile, signature golden-brown ridges, with a moist, crumbly texture that defines an old-fashioned cake donut, according to the April 14 press release.

The beloved bakery brand promises its new Chocolate Old Fashioned Donut "perfectly captures the nostalgia of a traditional cake donut" with a sweet, signature glaze that delivers an "authentic 'hometown bakery' experience with every bite."
To "meet the needs" of every type of snacker, Little Debbie says the new treat will be available in both bulk and grab-and-go formats.
