Fresno might be known for its tacos.

But really good tamales come from the 559, too.

For many, it wouldn’t be Christmas without tamales, a classic holiday food.

But where can you get the best tamales in the Fresno area?

The Tamale Throwdown was held Friday in downtown Fresno and showcased some of Fresno’s finest.

But not all restaurants and food truck in Fresno participated.

So we’re asking readers to help rank the best.
