Party with peaches at Sierra Nut House

The folks at Sierra Nut House like peaches so much they’re throwing them a party.

And you’re invited.

The store and bistro at Blackstone and Nees in the Villaggio shopping center is hosting its 5th annual peach parties. Each week, farmers will sell peaches out front and inside the store all kinds of peach dishes will be for sale.

The peach parties run from 10 a.m. to noon. The next one is Friday, July 3, due to the holiday, but every other party will be on a Saturday in June, July and August.

Each party will feature a farmer and a different variety of peach. This week’s is the suncrest peach from PK Farms.

Inside the store, the bistro staff has prepared lots of peach creations: peach pork paninis, grilled peaches, peach shakes, peach sangria, peach Bellinis and peach pie.
