Women’s Club donates to Holy Cross Center

Saint Agnes Women’s Club donated $90,000 to Saint Agnes Holy Cross Center for Women at the club’s Installation of Officers luncheon on Jan. 11. Funds were raised as a result of the club’s 2015 fundraiser events, including Le Petit Tea, Happy Hour for Holy Cross Women and others. The center offers educational programs and shelter for homeless and low-income women and their children.

Western Fairs Association honors Big Fresno Fair

The Big Fresno Fair won 26 Western Fairs Association’s (WFA) awards, ranging from first place finishes for the new Fresno County Historical Museum and the annual theme poster. Overall it picked up 12 first, 6 second and 8 third place awards.
