‘Happy Neuter Year’ approaches

Valley Animal Shelter will be holding its “Happy Neuter Year” 1 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays and Fridays in January at 3934 N. Hayston Ave. in Fresno. Visitors can get their male dogs or cats neutered for $20. There are no income or ZIP code restrictions, but space is limited. 40 students from various local high schools raised $30,367 for the Marjaree Mason Center through a campaign called HUGS – Helping Underprivileged Girls Succeed.
