Expanded north Fresno Walmart store debuts Wednesday

The Walmart at 7065 N. Ingram Ave. in north Fresno will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate its expansion at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The 20,000-square-foot expansion added a full-service grocery store with fresh fruit and vegetables, along with a full-service deli and bakery. The store also expanded its hours to 6 a.m. to midnight daily.

The expansion added 80 new jobs.

The store also will celebrate with free food samples and family activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
