This Orange Cat Joined His Mom's Beauty Routine One Week After Being Rescued, and the Internet Is in Shambles
Every rescue cat has a story, but the best chapters often don't begin until they find their forever homes. Whether they spent time in the shelter or were picked up as a stray cat, nothing can compare to the stability and love of a family. Just ask Mr. Bean!
This affectionate orange cat was adopted by his new mama, @amberrgulbinn, only a week ago, but he's already settling into his routine-and into hers! After he joined Amber for part of her beauty routine on June 16, no one could deny just how much this kitty adores being pampered.
@amberrgulbinn I should just give him a whole spa day I guess #catsoftiktok#cat#orangecat#fyp#cattok

This sweet kitty couldn't possibly be more relaxed with his mama's ice-cold face roller giving him the most refreshing massage. He's going to be part of her GRWM (AKA 'Get Ready With Me') videos for the rest of his life! Amber should invest in a second roller and practice being ambidextrous; then she and her cat can enjoy their de-puffing massages at the same time.
"His extra eyelid is sneaking out," commenter @shelbyyykayyy noticed. "He's super relaxed." His eyes are starting to drift in opposite directions, too, and it doesn't take a feline expert to see just how zen this rescue cat is feeling.
I found it impossible not to smile at Mr. Bean's blissed-out reaction to Amber's icy roller, but @margtime cautioned Amber about indulging her new feline friend too much. "This is actually really dangerous," they joked, "because your cat could become used to getting spa treatments and run you into bankruptcy."
With his expressive face, this cat could easily pay for his own spa treatments by starring in more videos exactly like this! Then again, this precious orange kitty is getting used to the good life; soon he may be too spoiled to do much at all!
Bonding With a Rescue Cat
After all he's been through in search of his forever home, Mr. Bean deserves every last second of bliss. He's made the adjustment process incredibly easy for his mama, and he's incredibly eager to bond. Clearly, he's meant to be someone's BFF!

Not all rescue cats are eager to bond with their new families, and that's ok. Some may spend a few days hiding or decompressing in a spot where they feel safe, but finding positive ways to interact will be the best way to bond when they're ready. This could be as simple as feeding them a treat, but it could also look like Mr. Bean's purr-fect spa day.
There's no one-size-fits-all solution to bonding with a rescue cat, but a little love, thought, and flexibility will go a long way. Soon, they'll see and feel just how loved they are!
