Dogs can take on the personality of their humans, but have you ever seen a dog that took on the personality of its cats?

The Good Hype is a YouTube channel that features one animal-loving family and their huge brood of furry friends. To date, the home includes 10 dogs and five fosters, as the couple is very passionate about saving dogs from harm. That said, they also have many cats, and this particular foster Beagle has been spending a lot of quality time with them.

"Things my foster learned from my cats," the video caption says, and what comes next is a series of mannerisms this beautiful Beagle named Bagel has adopted from her cat family.

First of all, Bagel loves to "loaf." She sits on top of his curled-up legs just like a cat, creating the shape of an absolutely adorable Beagle bread loaf.

Bagel also grooms herself like a cat, and we get to watch as she licks herself right next to the cats during bathing time. She even grooms his fellow dogs, because they don't seem to be doing it themselves!

She rests in high places, like the tops of tables or even inside the cat tree, and she plays with the cat toys, too!

"So help me if he starts meowing," the video caption says, but truly, it seems like this Beagle is living her best life.

"I love how much she is changed," one frequent viewer comments. "She is so comfortable doing things she wants to do. I love your magic. Meow."

"Bagel, the Cat!" another laughs. "In a house of big dogs, she probably sees herself more closely resembling a cat. Seems like a couple of internet dogs (Bunny, Flambo) see their smaller sized dog siblings as cats, too!"

Why Do Dogs Pick Up the Traits of Other Animals Around Them?

Just like baby humans, dogs learn by mimicking the actions of others around them. It's very usual for dogs to learn behavioral traits from their fellow dog friends, but it's also likely they'll pick up a few tricks, so to speak, from other pets in the home, even cats or rabbits.

Puppies and adult dogs alike are social learners, and they see the older animals around them as mentors. They learn how to act at home, how to play with toys, and how to communicate their needs by watching others. That's how Bagel learned to clean herself and play with the kitty toys.

Next time you're playing with your dog, see if you can catch where they picked up different behavioral traits, and from whom!
