Pet of the week: Attention-loving kitty seeks adoption
Animal:Persimmon, 1-year-old, 7-pound, female domestic shorthair cat with a brown tabby coat.
Where: Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 389 Requeza St., Encinitas. Open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
Adoption fee: $100, including microchip registration, spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society's Department of Animal Services.
Profile:Persimmon loves attention. She would be fine living with kids six years and older. She might like living with other cats.
