Rescue Dog Cactus's First 'Beard Trim' With Dad Leaves Him Beaming With Pride
Anyone who shares their life with a dog knows that personal space is often optional. Whether you're cooking dinner, folding laundry, or trying to get ready for the day, chances are your four-legged shadow is right there, making sure they don't miss a thing.
That's certainly true for Rescue Dog Cactus, whose signature smile and lovable personality have already won plenty of hearts. This time, however, his curiosity led to one of his funniest moments yet.
In a June 10 TikTok shared by @cactustherescue, Cactus sits attentively beside his dad as he trims his beard with an electric trimmer. Watching every move with interest, the rescue pup seems determined not to miss a single moment before getting his own treatment.

Once Dad is finished, he turns his attention to Cactus. Keeping up the buzzing sounds, he carefully gives his sweet pup his very own "shave," complete with all the seriousness of a professional grooming session. When the makeover is complete, Cactus is lifted up to admire himself in the mirror, looking every bit like a dog who knows he just received the VIP treatment.

It's easy to see why fans fell in love with the sweet interaction.
Viewer @Steph summed it up perfectly, writing, "Reason #693647 why I love dogs. He wants to be included. So much love."

And judging by the proud look on his face when Dad held him up to the mirror, this Rescue Dog seemed pretty pleased with his very first shave.
