Chicken chains and doughnut shops are getting into World Cup action with freebies and special sauces.
Restaurants, including McDonald’s, announced soccer promotions in advance of the competition, which began last week.
A match day menu at Buffalo Wild Wings includes six Heinz dipping sauces representing the world.
They are Maple Sweet Chili, for Canada; Smoky Elote, Mexico; Peri Peri, South Africa; Yuzu Wasabi, Asia; Sweet Curry, Europe; and Creamy Chimichurri, South America.
