A Maine Coon mama and her six kittens are melting hearts online. Although judging by the expression on Mom's face, she personally would prefer a nap and about fifteen minutes of uninterrupted silence.

Parents everywhere are relating to the tired feline after a video showing the exhausted Maine Coon mom caring for her growing babies started making the rounds on TikTok. And honestly, the look on her face says more than words ever could.

Mischievous Cat - ALOHI STYLE

The adorable clip was shared by the TikTok account for @Mainecoonsmk and shows one very overworked tabby Maine Coon mama stretched out on her back while six hungry babies help themselves to the all-you-can-eat buffet.

Meanwhile, one ambitious little ginger kitten appears to be making plans for independence by sneaking over to investigate a nearby dish of mushy food.

Honestly, he's giving strong "I'm 18 now and moving out" energy.

As for Mom? She looks like she's mentally somewhere far away.

The expression on her face is absolutely priceless. You can practically hear her saying, "Excuse me, are you just going to stand there filming or are you going to help?"

The comments section was filled with fellow parents and cat lovers who completely understood:

  • "Bro in the back is ready to move out."
  • "Every mom knows this look."
  • "Mama looks like she needs a break. Stay strong."
  • "Mom has disassociated for the moment. I get it girl."
  • "Mom: Don't you stand there recording, help me lol."
  • "She's looking at you like, 'Um are you going to save me? I'm your child remember?'"

As a Maine Coon mom myself, I can confirm these cats are big. This means six Maine Coon babies attached to you at once probably feels less like motherhood and more like surviving a tiny, fluffy zombie apocalypse.

Still, despite looking completely over it, this sweet mama continues caring for her babies like the queen she is.

Relaxing Japanese-style piano song inviting nostalgia - Akiko Akiyama

Nursing mother cats need extra calories and plenty of fresh water to keep up with the demands of feeding kittens. Many veterinarians recommend offering high-quality kitten food because it's richer in nutrients and calories.

It's also important to provide mom with:

• Fresh water at all times

Frequent meals throughout the day

• A quiet, comfortable nesting area

• Clean bedding

• Regular veterinary care if needed

As kittens begin transitioning to solid food, mom can finally start getting a little more rest.

And judging by this exhausted Maine Coon, that day cannot come soon enough.
