Every dog parent knows the feeling of wanting their pup to make friends, which is why Bear the Doberman's day care experience is tugging at heartstrings everywhere. When Bear's mom, Brianna, dropped him off for a day of fun, she hoped he'd find a buddy to play with. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as planned.

Bear arrived ready to run, wrestle, and make new friends, but his boundless energy proved to be a little too much for the other dogs. While he was eager to play, others weren't nearly as enthusiastic about keeping up with him. Realizing that no one wanted to join in on the fun, Bear looked absolutely heartbroken, and viewers can't help but feel for the sweet pup.

Brianna shared in the caption, "He was so sad I played with him all night long," and who can blame her? We would've done the exact same thing.

Viewer @Cassidy got more than 350,000 likes when she shared our favorite comment. "I worked at a doggy daycare, and we had this gorgeous female bully mix that would just SCREAM when playing with dogs cause she was so excited. It made every dog not want to be her friend, and it broke my heart, so I was her BFF. One day, an Aussie came in, and he loved to play, so I paired them up. I knew it would work, cause he was deaf. Mom cried cause she was so happy her dog finally had a friend. She didn't believe me at first and was like, " He didn't get upset with her?" and I replied, "Not at all, he couldn't hear her!" Your pup will find his pack!"

Why Dobermans Need So Much Mental and Physical Exercise

Dobermans are extremely intelligent working dogs that were originally bred to serve as protectors, relying on their focus, stamina, and quick thinking to keep their families safe. Because of that, they typically need much more than a leisurely walk around the block to stay happy and fulfilled.

In fact, Atlas Doberman describes the breed as having "unlimited energy." Most Dobermans need anywhere from 1½ to 2 hours of exercise each day, and that's just the starting point. Experts recommend providing plenty of mental stimulation through training sessions, puzzle toys, scent work, and interactive games.

We hope that Bear will find a friend at daycare soon; he seems too sweet not to have a buddy to play with!
