Cheap eats at Del Taco and The Habit Burger & Grill

A bean and cheese burrito priced at an even $1 highlights Del Taco’s latest refresh of its value menu.

It’s called the "Get A Lot For What You've Got" Value Menu, and it features a dozen items priced from $1 to about $2.19, according to a news release from the Lake Forest-based fast food chain.

Items include a new Grilled Chicken Snacker, essentially a mini quesadilla with marinated chicken and cheddar cheese for $1.79. There are also mini shakes at $2 and many items held over from Del Taco’s last version of its value menu, Del’s Real Deals, which was introduced in July 2024.

A new Get A Lot pack includes two Snack Tacos, two Grilled Chicken Snackers, two Value Bean & Cheese Burritos and a 16-ounce drink for $8.99.

There’s also a $6.99 Fresh Deal for app users. It includes a Value Bean & Cheese Burrito, a Grilled Chicken Snacker, a Chicken Cheddar Roller, a Crispy Chicken Taco and a 16-ounce drink.

Del Taco’s current specials include two Big Fat Tacos for $6, Dragon Fruit Blueberry Shake Poppers and Mini Sweet Cream Churros.

The Habit Burger & Grill also has a new value option called Gotta Habit Wraps. There are three: a BBQ Chicken Wrap with chargrilled chicken and crispy onions; a Chicken Caesar Wrap; and an Avocado Ranch Chicken with housemade ranch. All of them are wrapped in toasted tortillas.

Wraps cost $5 a la carte or $10 in a box with a side and a drink, according to a news release from the Irvine chain.

Current specials include Salted Caramel, Blue Wave and Orange Dreamsicle shakes.
