Fleurette restaurant introduces prix-fixe option and bar burger
Fleurette, Chef Travis Swikard’s Southern French restaurant that opened in mid-December in the UTC area near La Jolla, has introduced a tasting menu option.
The prix-fixe Menu du Marché, being served exclusively in the glass-walled Soleil Room, includes seven courses, with a focus on seasonality and market-fresh ingredients from local farms and coastal seafood, with influences of the French and Italian Riveria.
The menu will offer a progression of canapés, pastas, seafood, roasted meats and desserts along with some of Fleurette’s classic dishes. The cost is $145. Fleurette will continue to serve its a la carte menu in the dining room.
Another site-specific offering is the new Le Dude Burger, being served exclusively at Fleurette’s bar. A limited number of Le Dude burgers will be sold each night. The burger includes a six-ounce porcini-rubbed, dry-aged burger with caramelized red onion, torched Gruyère cheese, horseradish Dijonnaise and cornichons on house-made sesame brioche, served with Gruyère fondue and red wine jus.
