You won't find a sweeter dog than little June Bug
Breed: June Bug was labeled a Chihuahua-pug mix by the shelter; the rescue isn't sure what mix she is.
Age: About 6 years
Sex: Spayed female
Size: About 15 pounds
June Bug's story: June Bug was brought to a shelter. She is the most darling little girl – friendly, calm, easygoing (though she's been known to tell one of her foster's dogs to back off when he starts to bug her) and loving. She's a delightful companion at restaurants that allow dogs, sitting quietly in her stroller as the world goes by. She adores people and loves being with them. She sleeps nicely in a dog (or people) bed.
She can't see, although her eyes appear to be normal. The rescue doesn't think she has been blind for long and has plans to take her to a veterinary ophthalmologist to see if they can determine exactly what caused her blindness. Whatever it may be, June Bug – like almost all blind dogs – isn't letting it stop her. She gets around very well. She's healthy, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
