Photos: French VC's Woodside estate listed for $15 million
French venture capitalist Jeff Clavier and his wife Bernadette, a former director at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, have listed their European-style Woodside compound for $14,900,000.
The couple spent four years renovating the original stone villa, cottage, guest house and grounds to one that integrates European aesthetics and craftsmanship including hand-painted murals, artisan tile work, custom ironwork, and exposed beam ceilings.
The 7,155-square-foot main residence has four suites, an office, a chef's kitchen and a wine cellar. The property also includes a two-bedroom cottage, one-bedroom guest house and a detached fitness center with sauna.
The 3.2 acres of resort-like grounds house curated gardens, a clay tennis court, pool and spa, waterfall grotto, a putting green and a bocce court.
Erika Demma with Compass is the listing agent.
Tech upgrades to the property include advanced security systems, internet infrastructure, and backup power.
