Little Foal Has One Hilarious Obstacle Standing Between Him and Dinner
You're doing amazing, sweetie! One little foal might not have the hang of grazing in the grass just yet, but watching him give it his best shot is so adorable. He's really going for it! Of course, he had the best example beside him - his mama. Who was showing the baby how to eat the grass like the pro she is.
Shared by Paige, the clip is such a moment in time. One day the foal will be big and strong and able to feed himself. But until then, he'll probably want to stick close to mom.

This is such a big moment for the baby horse. Before this, he was probably being fed by mom and his human. But now he's taking his first step towards being an adult. He didn't exactly nail grazing for the first time, but I have faith! One day, he'll get the hang of it - one day, when his head can reach the ground.

For now, all the foal could do was paw at the ground wistfully. He wanted to be exactly like his mom! She was busy eating - he wanted to eat too.
"When you want to eat with Mom but you can't reach," the video's text overlay reads. "He was trying so hard too," Paige wrote.
Don't worry, little horse. You'll get there one day. Keep practicing and you're sure to get the hang of it.
Everyone on the internet was here for the foal's little fail.
"That's so funny. I didn't know their legs grow faster than their neck," one commenter admitted.
"I'm loving all the baby horses trying to munch," someone else added.
"I like him hitting the ground like ‘HEY. BE MORE CLOSER,'" one person wrote.
"He's trying his best it's okay," someone else quipped.
What Do Foals Eat?
Grass might not be in the equation for this horse, so what is he supposed to eat? For the first 24 to 36 hours, horses will eat their mother's colostrum. Then they'll drink milk for the first few weeks, sometimes feeding as often as every 10 minutes. Eventually, horses will learn to eat hay before being weaned completely at 4 to 6 months. So sweet!
