Every cat person knows it doesn't get cuter than a newborn kitten making biscuits, but the vet, techs, and staff at Murrysville Veterinary Associates got a front-row seat to the sweetest show of all time. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania vet clinic shared a short but heartwarming video of their newest patient on May 28, and no one can believe they witnessed his very first 'biscuits.'

This newborn kitten video is the sweetest reminder that vets and vet techs are there for it all. They care for their furry patients from birth until death, and sometimes the universe rewards them with perfect moments like this. Witnessing a kitten's first biscuits is absolutely priceless!

Welcome to the world, little kitten! He's quite literally in the best hands at this vet clinic, but I hope all is well with his mama and siblings. Sometimes, veterinary intervention is expected after a complicated pregnancy, so this could very well be the case here.

Regardless of the circumstances of his arrival, no one can deny that this tiny newborn kitten is leaving enormous pawprints on the hearts of those who care for him. Commenters like @hld1974 loved how he made "Such small biscuits but such a big yawn." It's hard to believe this is only a sneak peek of the sweet kitten's personality!

Murraysville Veterinary Associates brought up an excellent point that heartwarming pet moments like this make the stress of a veterinary career worth it. Vets, vet techs, staff, and volunteers help support pets and their families through some of the scariest and most emotional moments, but they also get to witness beautiful moments, like the start of a new life.

"I'm a vet tech student and know that there's definitely going to be tough times," agreed @lgbtseoho, "but these will be the times I'll cherish. Even now that I'm beginning practicum this semester, I'm excited to get to experience veterinary medicine in a real practice and not just in school."

Why Do Cats Knead-and Why Do They Call It 'Making Biscuits'?

Everyone knows that cat kneading is adorable, but what is the purpose of this iconic behavior? It's most likely a behavior leftover from kittenhood, when babies paw and knead at their mother's belly to help stimulate milk production during nursing. Because it's associated with such a positive behavior, kneading can be a comforting thing to do no matter how old a cat gets.

This sweet behavior can be a great sign that a cat feels comfortable in your presence, but for a newborn kitten like this little one, the answer behind his behavior is likely much simpler-it's time to nurse!
