Whether she's on my screen in a movie, a Hot Ones interview or a commercial, Keke Palmer never fails to make me laugh - so it's only fitting that she bought her house because it reminded her of classic TV sitcoms.

In a recent video for Architectural Digest's YouTube channel, Palmer (and her son Leo) opened the door of their Los Angeles house, showing off all of the home's best features - which range from a Stanley cup cabinet to a VHS-filled media room. Read on to learn more!

Keke Palmer Has a Stanley Cup Cabinet in Her Kitchen

The very first thing Palmer showed off was the "Stanley Cup cabinet" in her kitchen, which is filled to the max with Stanley drinking vessels and other reusable water bottles. "We are a water-drinking family," Palmer joked as she showed off some of her favorite cups.

Keke Palmer's House Reminds Her of Classic Sitcoms

"It was the bones of this house that I loved so much," Palmer said, reflecting on when she first saw the open kitchen, which features a long booth in front of the window. "It made me feel like I was on an episode of I Love Lucy, OK? It felt like a diner or something."

"Anybody that knows me knows that I love old-school sitcoms. Like the classic, multi-cam sitcoms," she continued. "I think that's what attracted me to this house, is that it felt like a multi-cam sitcom house." She pointed out a few accessories in her kitchen that she bought because of their classic sitcom vibes, like her Smeg toaster and vintage Pyrex.

Keke Palmer Has a Pilates Reformer Next to Her Bed

Though Palmer thought about building a home gym, she instead opted to just put her Pilates reformer in a surprising place: in her bedroom, right next to her bed. "I like it in my room," she explained. "I can be sitting here watching something on Netflix and I'm laying down and I'm doing just some legwork."

Keke Palmer's Media Room Is Filled With VHS Tapes and Horror Books

Palmer finished the tour in her media room, which features a built-in bookcase filled with classic horror novels, a sprawling custom green couch, a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall and a working VHS player. She also has a collection of movies on VHS tape, including The Glass House, Predator, Ghost, Aladdin, Thumbelina and Back to the Future.

Palmer loves having her sisters over to watch movies on VHS, since they always used to watch tapes together in their house as kids. She said: "The environment may have changed, we may have a lot more, but who we are at heart always remains when we curl up on these couches and we sit back and we watch some movie."
