This Sheep Is Convinced He's a Dog-And His Family Totally Enables It
Most animals enjoy some extra attention from their humans. Moose the sheep seems to have made getting such attention his number one priority. Whether he's lounging on the couch or being carried around the farm like an oversized puppy, this fluffy, lovable sheep has spent his first year living a life most dogs would envy.
Farm family, @thebraleyfamily shared a TikTok that is winning hearts with a first birthday video montage honoring Moose, a black-and-white lovable sheep who has decided he's just another member of the household pack.

The video follows Moose through his first year, highlighting his pampered dog-like lifestyle. In clip after clip, he's being carried around the farm by his mom or dad like an oversized puppy. The on-screen text perfectly sums up the entire situation: "One year of our sheep thinking he's a dog."
One particularly funny scene shows Moose stretched out on the couch beside his dad while they watch TV together. Even better? The show playing on the screen is Shaun the Sheep, making the moment feel perfect.
Another clip shows a younger Moose getting the full spa treatment during bath time. Standing in the indoor sink covered, the baby sheep is covered in soap suds as he gets a scalp massage from mom.
As the video moves through Moose's first year, the adorable pet sheep undergoes quite a transformation. The tiny lamb being effortlessly carried around eventually turns into a much larger, nearly full-sized sheep. That doesn't stop his family from scooping him up and carting him around over their shoulders. It just takes noticeably more effort as the months go by.

Do Sheep Make Good Pets?
While sheep are traditionally raised as livestock, it is not uncommon for young lambs to form very strong bonds with their owners. Animals that are handled frequently from a young age often become comfortable around people and may desire human attention well into adulthood.
That said, sheep still have specialized care needs, including proper nutrition, adequate outdoor space, routine hoof care, and companionship from other sheep. They're generally happiest when they can express their natural behaviors, even if that means the occasional couch snuggle during their favorite show.
Moose may not technically be a dog, but after a year of cuddles, couch lounging, baths, and being carried around like a large puppy, it's easy to see why everyone -including Moose himself- seems to forget that minor detail.
