Dog Lover Spotted 'the Saddest Thrift Store Find' and Now We're Sobbing
Thrifting and going to a Goodwill can result in some truly unexpected, and even rare finds. Sometimes, though, those finds will hit you straight in your feels.
Adam Tomcheck (who goes by his name on TikTok as well) is an avid thrifter who takes to social media to share his finds when shopping secondhand. On a recent shopping trip, Tomcheck came across the sweetest portraits, which someone had shockingly donated. The video and the thought process behind the donation will get any pet lover straight in their feels.

While we'll never likely know the reason behind the portraits of the pair of Chihuahuas being donated to a Goodwill, Tomcheck did assure commenters that he bought the pictures to give them a good home. One commenter even asked if they could buy it from him, so it's safe to say the memory of these little furry friends or pet siblings will be lovingly preserved.
Do Dogs Have Favorite Furry Friends?
Just like their human counterparts, dogs are highly social, pack creatures. Because of this, it's incredibly common for dogs to have "preferred playmates" or as we'd call them: best friends. Dogs typically pick their besties based on play styles, matching energies, and even shared interests like wanting to run, swim, play, or lounge together.
You can tell when your dog has zoned in on a best friend with the typical signs of excitement. More tail wags, barks, and even yipping at their friend can be a sign that they've fallen in love with another dog. It's so fun to see when a dog visibly enjoys another dog's company.
The backstory to the donated chihuahuas may never be known, but it's clear in their glamour shots they were definitely fond of each other. Hopefully whoever gets them next appreciates their sweet faces for generations to come.
