Deals on and around National Hamburger Day 2026

Burger lovers can find several deals from local and national chains during National Hamburger Day.

It takes place today, but several deals are already in effect or will be extended through the weekend.

May is National Hamburger Month as well, with limited-time burgers available from chains such as Denny’s, which has a He-Man Battle Burger tied to the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” movie opening June 5.

There’s also a National Cheesburger Day, but that won’t happen until Sept. 18.

Irv’s Burgers: This “all-American burger stand” got its start on Route 66 in 1946, according to its website. It will be offering one free Roadside Single to the first 50 guests at each of its locations. When you order, say “Just for me.” irvsburgers.com.

Jack in the Box: Customers can get a free Jr. Jumbo Jack with any purchase of $1 or more. The San Diego-based chain is also promoting Smashed Jack Sliders with a sweepstakes that ends June 14. jackinthebox.com.

Shake Shack: Customers can get a free Shackburger with a minimum $10 purchase through Sunday as the New York-based chain wraps up its National Hamburger Month promotion. shakeshack.com.

The Habit Burger & Grill: MyHabit rewards members can get two Charburgers for the price of one through June 8.
