$481,655 lottery ticket sold at Sunnyvale gas station
SUNNYVALE — A gas station here pumped out a $481,655 lottery game ticket Monday night, officials said.
An unidentified player was the only one statewide to pick all five Powerball game numbers, which were 17, 32, 48, 60 and 64. Had they also picked the Power number 10, they would have been the only one statewide to win the $141 million total jackpot.
The ticket was bought at the Shell station, 776 N Mathilda Ave. No one at the station could immediately be reached for comment.
The winner has 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
Powerball is played Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights. Each ticket has five games that can be played at $2 apiece.
Wednesday’s total jackpot will be at least $154 million.
