Here's to the happiest big brother! Dojo is really embracing the new additions to his family. The Golden Retriever couldn't wait to say hi to the babies - a flock of baby chicks! Video of the pup greeting his new crew is adorable. It has his mom feeling some type of way. All of her kids were getting along!

What a wonderful moment for the mom to witness. You never know what's going to happen when you bring new animals into the house. Luckily, Dojo the Golden Retriever took to being a brother like a duck to water.

It's a happy day for everyone! Mom, the chicks - and Dojo, of course! Some animals take some time getting used to a new presence in their space, but that's not a problem for the Golden. He loves having a full house. The first thing he wanted to do was say hi to the new pets.

"Do you have new babies?" the Golden's mama cried in the clip.

Dojo barked in response and then went over to see the chicks in their enclosure. They're still so young, but luckily Dojo was there to protect them. The dog was more than happy to stay by the chicks' side for a cuddle. What a gentle, gentle boy.

"Meeting new friends," the video's text overlay reads.

Commenters were so in love with Dojo and his new pals.

"Containing his excitement with the stuffy! I can't," one person gushed.

"He said ‘I'm their new mommy!!!'" another commenter teased.

"Such a precious gentleman... pupper is such a good dad to his little peepers," chimed in one person.

"I don't know how to describe how much I enjoyed this video," someone else added.

Are Golden Retrievers Good With Chickens?

Sadly, not all dogs are as good with chickens as Dojo is. In fact, some breeds could be dangerous to chickens, like Greyhounds, Weimaraners, Jack Russell Terriers, and Siberian Huskies. They could even kill them! It's best to keep these dogs far away.

Goldens, on the other hand, are typically good with chickens. Just keep an eye on them! For the most part, when it comes to Goldens your chicks should be safe.
