Woman Wakes up at 1 AM to a Raccoon Ringing Her Doorbell-and the Internet Is Losing It

Waking up to a doorbell ringing at 1 a.m/ is never a good feeling, and most of us immediately assume something terrible must have happened. So when Bradlea Buehler and her husband were suddenly awakened in the middle of the night, the last thing they expected to find was a raccoon waiting outside for someone to acknowledge him.

Since raccoons are nocturnal, it's not exactly shocking that he chose to make his surprise late-night house call instead of politely waiting until morning. But the reason viewers think he rang the doorbell in the first place is somehow even funnier than the fact that he actually did it.

Listen.. I was feeding the stray cats, the raccoon just decided to capitalize on that and now he's SNITCHING bc I missed a night?! #justagirl#racoon#help#wildlife#cats

The Comment Section About This Raccoon Video Is Pure Comedy

Bradlea's video quickly went viral, racking up more than 4 million views and thousands of comments, and some of them had us LOLing.

@ADogNamedJesus won 63k likes after sharing a relatable story. "Let me tell you, in my old house, I used to leave a bowl of cat food out for the raccoons outside of my master bedroom porch, which had a sliding glass door. One night, I forgot to leave the bowl out, but accidentally left the sliding glass door open and woke up to a raccoon's hand on my face, gently waking me up to remind me. They don't play when it comes to their food!"

@Joelle could also relate and shared a picture of a deer peeking through the glass of her front door, "So cute. I have squirrels that do that, and also my deer!"

Commenter @TimeofJay joked, "Going to bed without snacks, are we? I think not. - the raccoon, probably."

We're sure Bradlea won't make that mistake again!
