How to get to the BTS concert at Stanford Stadium if you don't want to drive

Korean mega boy band BTS is playing three sold-out shows at the 50,000-seat Stanford Stadium on May 16, 17 and 19 — and parking may be a little tight. So ARMY members and other attendees may want to consider these options to driving:

Caltrain

The Palo Alto station is less than a mile from the stadium and there is also a free shuttle to get you closer. The Stanford Stadium station will not be used for the BTS concerts. Caltrain will also add an additional northbound local train to San Francisco after the concert, departing at 11:28 pm for the weekend concerts, and 11:58 pm for the weekday concert. For younger fans 18 and under, Caltrain rides are under $1 for one day and $2 for a Day pass.

Valley Transportation Authority

Take the 22 or the 522. The bus will be rerouted to Alma Street and go express without stops from Page Mill Road and the Palo Alto Transit Center. This route will run three hours before the concert and also after the concert. A shuttle will provide local service on El Camino Real during peak show times.

Bike valet

The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition is operating a secure bike parking valet service for attendees. Find them on Nelson Road (across from Gate 4) or Sam MacDonald Road (across from Gate 3.)

Rideshare or dropoff and pickup

Dropoffs and pickups will be at the Wilbur Lot (660 Escondido Road). Vehicles will be required to enter the lot on Bowdoin Lane via Campus Drive. The Wilbur Lot is about a 20-minute walk to Stanford Stadium. There will be also be ADA golf cart transportation from the rideshare lot to and from Gate 1B and Gate 4.

If you do decide to drive, remember that you must have a prepaid parking pass to park at a stadium lot.
