Each Dog Gets an Egg-And the Results Get Crazier Every Time
The viral "give your dog an egg" challenge is still making the rounds, and honestly, some of these videos are cracking me up-pun intended.
Recently, the Moriarty Family shared a compilation of their four dogs taking part, and each pup's reaction is more chaotic than the last. The idea behind the challenge is that dogs recognize how fragile eggs are and will handle them gently... but unfortunately for the eggs, that's not exactly how things play out.

Blue, the Siberian Husky, went first, and he actually handled things pretty well. After a little curiosity, he nudged the egg off the plate, sending it rolling under the couch... and just like that, his turn was over.
Next up was Titan, another Husky, and he definitely seemed to understand the assignment. He gave the egg a few cautious licks, gently picked it up with his mouth, and placed it on the ground. Then, after what sounded like a quick "discussion" with Dad in true Husky fashion, he lay down next to it like they were about to take a nap together.

Maverick, the Golden Retriever, started off strong with some careful sniffing, but once the egg hit the floor, all bets were off. He decided it was a toy, rolling it between his paws until-just when it looked like he might pass-he smushed it... and then acted like he had absolutely nothing to do with the egg's demise.
The Last Dog Brings the Chaos
The family's most recent addition is a rambunctious Golden Retriever named Bauer. He carries his dinner plate everywhere he goes, and this challenge was no different. Dad places three eggs in front of him, and the Golden immediately thinks it's a great game.
He drops his emotional support plate and manages to set all three eggs down safely. From there, things spiral quickly. Bauer cracks the eggs open and eats them, then starts tossing the ceramic plate around until he smashes it. And just when you think it's over, he jumps onto the counter, retrieves the rest of the carton, eats the remaining eggs, and tears the cardboard into bits. I had to watch the video twice!
He's a menace and a typical Golden Retriever all at the same time-and while he definitely failed the challenge, he absolutely won the entertainment round.
