Yellow Labrador Retrievers are loyal to a fault-and not just when it comes to their humans. These sweet pups can really lock in on a toy and refuse to leave it behind, even when it's completely out of reach.

Stella is one of these dedicated pups, and her loyalty lies firmly with tennis balls. Her dad recently shared an adorable TikTok video that pulls on your heartstrings and then makes you laugh-all in the same 49 seconds.

That time Stella really dropped the ball

At the beginning of the video, Stella is lying out in the grass, and it's obvious she's concerned about something. Dad walks over and asks, "What are you so sad about? What's the matter?" but she doesn't budge. As he gets closer, she stands up and starts guiding him toward the road.

It's almost like she's saying, "Thank goodness you're here because I need you to get my ball!" As he's walking, Dad quickly puts the pieces together and realizes Stella's dramatic sadness is all because her ball is out of reach-and she's been patiently waiting for her human to save the day.

"Aww, how long have you been sitting there?" Dad asks as the Yellow Lab gives him her best puppy dog eyes. When he finally spots the ball, he's shocked at how far away it is and even asks how it got over there-but of course, she's not offering any answers.

Does Stella Get Her Ball Back?

Yes, her dad went across the street to get her ball, and of course, tossed it for the Retriever to... well, retrieve. But the best part of the entire video is the grand finale-Stella comes in for a landing with her hind legs stretched out behind her, the ball in her mouth, and a big doggie smile on her face. It's an epic ending.

Some of her fans couldn't help but share their thoughts in the comments, saying things like, "Love her brakes!" and "The leg drag at the end got me! I had to watch it 3 more times!" One commenter even admitted, "The end about made me spit out my coffee!"

It's safe to say that Stella's day turned around the moment her tennis ball was back where it belonged.
