Despite the stereotype that says otherwise, cats and dogs can truly be best friends. While it's certainly not the case in every situation, we've seen plenty of evidence that points to the fact that cats and dogs can share an unbreakable bond, despite their obvious differences. Just like humans, cats and dogs tend to take these differences to learn more about each other, and often we are left with special moments like this one between a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Cinder and his cat sister named Cleo.

In a YouTube video posted by @Cinder_The_Toller, we see Cinder, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, take a page out of Cleo the cat's book to find the best way to people-watch out the window. Even though Cinder is significantly bigger than Cleo, there's nothing Cleo does that Cinder can't also partake in.

Cleo Teaches Cinder How to Be a Cat

Cinder might be more than double Cleo's size, but that doesn't mean he can't copy her every move. This time around, the adorable kitten showed her brother how to comfortably people-watch from their living room window while perched on the sofa.

The problem? Well, Cinder isn't Cleo's size, so his body just slowly droops from the top of the sofa headboard. However, Cinder isn't letting that small detail get in his way; instead, the pup uses his entire body strength to hold himself up.

While I doubt anyone can convince Cinder to give up his cat-like habits, it's surely caused quite a reaction in the comment section. "My roommate's dog tried to climb into cat tree, but he was too big," shared one user. Another viewer added this anecdote: "My dog does this and she has never seen a cat," which admittedly leaves us with more questions than answers.

Elsewhere, commenters couldn't help but notice the clear hierarchy that exists in this multi-pet household. "You can also tell who is the boss," noted one user. Another fan shared, "That is, when the big sister raised you."

Cinder's dedication to mastering his sister's window-watching technique is a perfect example of the unique and often hilarious bonds pets share. Despite the awkward fit, his efforts prove that love truly transcends size and species. It's also a sweet reminder that family members, no matter how different, will always find a way to share their favorite activities.
