Learning new tricks and commands takes patience for both the pet and their parents, and a lot of focused repetition can be challenging for a young puppy still trying to figure everything out. But when they are determined, each small success feels like a giant win.

In this video, we meet an adorable Cavapoo puppy who's giving her full attention to training, trying her very best to get each step perfect. And you can really see her effort pay off, and we can't help but cheer her on.

Shared by @ginaweal935, the video shows an incredibly adorable Cavapoo puppy named Hazel, who's determined to make her parents proud during training time. And in the clip, it's actually impressive to see how far she's come.

In the caption, we learn that Hazel has only been working on her commands and training for two days, and she's already made so much progress. She's asked to sit and lie down, each time presented with a treat because she knows exactly what she's supposed to do.

Hazel is still so young, so watching this clip, we still get to see her giant personality come out through her little paws. That chaotic puppy energy is in full swing, and she's able to listen and go wild at the same time.

In the comments, people were impressed with her, too. Some comments included: "Your pet is a star," "Hazel said, 'Nope,'" "Hazel is such a cutie pie," "Hazel is the best good dog ever. [You] will have many, many long years of loving this smart, adorable cutie," and others left heart-face emojis.

What Cues You Should Teach Your Puppy

If you have a puppy in the home or are thinking about getting one, doing some training at home, with or without a training course, is important. And the experts say there are a few you should work on first.

According to the American Kennel Club, basic training for your puppy should include teaching them to come when you call their name, how to loose-leash walk, plus the commands "sit," "down," and "stay."

Puppies can start training when they come home, but should be done in brief intervals, the American Kennel Club shares, sticking to around 10 minutes. And if you're lucky, your little one will pick it up as quickly as cute Hazel has.
