Pet of the week: Labrador retriever mix likes other dogs and kids who respect his space
Animal:Gronk, a 3-year-old, 83-pound, male Labrador retriever mix.
Where: Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 389 Requeza St., Encinitas. Open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
Adoption fee: $145, including microchip registration, spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society's Department of Animal Services.
Profile:Gronk barks to get attention, but since he almost always has a stuffed toy in his mouth, his woof sounds like "moof." When he gets excited, Gronk wags his whole body. He likes other dogs and kids who respect his space.
