It's well known that there's nothing quite as adorable as a dog becoming obsessed with a new baby. Especially when it comes to protective breeds, having a baby as a pet parent seems to mean having a new security guard as well.

At least that's what happened to one pair of pet parents who took out their newborn baby for their very first walk. Such a sweet milestone for the family couldn't happen without the baby's very own security detail not far behind-the family's pet husky. In true husky fashion, Marble didn't stray very far from her baby sibling and even took the time to check in now and then. Even though no one hired Marble for the role, it looks like the baby now has a full-time security guard around her at all times.

Never five steps too far, Marble takes his role as his newborn sister's security very seriously. Not content with just walking ahead to survey the area, Marble would even check in with the baby from time to time to ensure everything was going okay in the stroller.

While Mom and Dad were enjoying the walk alongside them, Marble did not appreciate the noises emanating from the stroller. In fact, we believe that Marble might even fire them from walking duty out of concern that they aren't taking their jobs seriously. Things really went south when Marble clearly cut the walk short out of precaution.

In the comment sections, many were cheering on Marble's new role and even offered a few suggestions to really get into the feel of the job. "Pup needs an earpiece, sunglasses, and a walkie," commented one user. Another viewer added, "Being a husky owner myself it makes me proud that this breed is so loving and protective of the little angels. Our fur angels helping take care of the humanly angels."

Although Marble might be taking his job a little too seriously, at least these parents can rest assured that nothing will ever get within two feet of the baby while he's around. In the meantime, Marble's humans may want to step it up, because as we saw, Marble is willing to cut any walk short if it means protecting his brand-new human baby.
