A tiny baby goat who couldn't tell up from down when he stumbled into the legs of a massive horse might have just found his new BFF.

The horse didn't respond to this tiny goat kid's clumsy intrusion with annoyance. Just patience and gentle kindness. The muscular equine gently sniffed the tiny goat baby whose tail flailed as he cried out for his mama.

But no matter how noisy this confused goat baby was as he stumbled around this horse's hooves, the horse's patience never faltered. Click the link here to watch this adorable video.

Like an alarm that won't stop ringing, this tiny goat kid bleated, and bleated, and bleated like their grazing field had caught fire.

Some parents, human or animal, can quickly lose their patience when a kid doesn't stop crying like this. Not this horse. He remained cool as a cucumber. Gentle as a pillow. A presence as reassuring as a gentle breeze to this confused little goat kid.

He sniffed him very gently. He didn't make any sudden moves that might startle the already confused little baby animal.

The horse also made sure to keep his feet firmly planted, so that this baby goat would not accidentally wander under one of these massive hooves as he stumbled around in the grass.

Kind, understanding, and considerate of this tiny goat kid, this gentle horse is a sterling example of farm animal style parenting.

But while this baby goat was likely too small to understand what was happening around them, the mama goat was more worried. She tried getting close to her baby to corral them without getting too close to the horse.

Some viewers joked that by the end of this video, this goat mom was pretty frustrated with her kid: "That one yell towards the end meant she was getting frustrated with her kid, LOL."

Other viewers stated that this horse was so calm around the baby goat that he was now their "designated babysitter."

In spite of the awkwardness and confusion that the scene started off with, it finished with the three of them walking off together, which really hit home the family-like dynamics that farm animals have with each other.
