Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean add San Diego concert to Double Down Tour
Two country music superstars are teaming up for a tour this summer that will pay a visit to San Diego at Petco Park.
Luke Bryan, who has a slew of upcoming solo performances on the Farm Tour and Word on the Street Tour in May, June and July, will follow those up in August by linking up with Jason Aldean, who will be in the midst of his own Songs About Us Tour.
The Georgia natives will perform at Petco Park on Aug. 16. Tickets, available through jasonaldean.com and lukebryan.com, go on sale on May 8 at 10 a.m. local time for each concertgoer. Members of the artists’ fan clubs will have presale access starting May 6 at 10 a.m. local time through May 7 at 10 p.m.
Fans can expect ticket prices between $103.25 and $304.75.
The announcement of Bryan and Aldean’s San Diego concert follows their recent performance together at UGA Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia, on April 25.
"If our time in Georgia was a barometric measurement of what's ahead, these shows with Jason will make it one of the best touring years of my life. And the fans will hopefully feel the same way," said a statement from Bryan.
The pair also announced a slew of supporting opening acts for these stadium concerts, with Gavin Adcock and Chase Matthew being the picks for San Diego. Other announced shows in August will take place in Missoula, Montana, and Washington, D.C.
A fourth winter date has been announced for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Dec. 11.
