Sometimes you just need a little time in the morning to get your head right. And nothing gets you more into a good mood than doing your daily affirmations. They can totally make your entire day. One Golden Retriever knows this is true. In fact, he was recently caught doing his morning "affirmations" in the mirror and it had everyone online cracking up.

Tapper is a really funny fella. The Golden Retriever was recorded giving himself a little "pep talk" recently and it's honestly the exact thing we all need to see.

Though I don't speak pup, I can sort of understand the affirmations the dog was saying now. You are a good boy. There is no gooder boy in the house than you.

Sounds about right, right? Or at least that's what it seems like the Golden Retriever is saying in the clip. Although in truth, he's probably just wondering who the other dog is in his house.

The Golden was standing smack dab in front of the mirror as he said his affirmations aloud. You can see when he's finished because at the end of his little speech it looks like the dog leans forward and gives his reflection a little kiss. How cute!

"Can't believe I caught the first time he did this on camera," the video's text overlay reads.

Neither could people in the comments section. They loved watching the Golden hyping himself up so much.

"You is smart, you is kind, you is important," wrote one person, as if speaking for the dog.

"I'm good enough, I'm floofy enough, and gosh darnit, people love me," someone else joked.

"I am a good boy. I am the best boy. There is no boy better than me," added another person.

Ways to Make Your Dog Happy

It's not just up to your dog to give himself a little boost. Sometimes you want to make him or her feel good too!

Your dog will always appreciate more exercise and play time, so take them out for a walk! Training your dog, and continuing training, is a good way to challenge their minds and bodies. Finally, your dog will always appreciate toys and chews. So make sure to spoil them every once in a while.
