Disney Announces Earliest Dates Ever for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

One of the more popular events at Disney World every year is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which typically runs from mid-August through October 31.

In 2025, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ran on 38 nights, starting August 15. This year, the show is going to be starting earlier than ever.

Disney announces Halloween party dates

On Tuesday, Disney officially announced the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which will debut August 7. This marks the earliest start date for the festivities.

In total, there will once again be 38 offerings of the Halloween celebration, with the dates listed below.

• August 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
• September 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
• October 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

Tickets will go on sale for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green starting May 5, 2026. All guests can begin purchasing tickets starting May 12, 2026.

Prices for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will once again range from $119 to $229 per ticket, plus tax. Last year, that highest price only applied to the final two shows of the season; otherwise, $199 was the most expensive ticket, pre-tax.

Disney previously hinted at early start

On Monday, the blog All Ears noted that Disney had been teasing guests about an upcoming Halloween announcement through a series of hidden clues.

The first one stated that "when the pumpkin hour chimes just right, A clock Unveils secrets within siGht, check the hands, then coUnt the patch, the harveSt holds the first date to caTch!" The capitalized letters in the message spell out August.

Another part of the clue was the clock hand, which pointed to '8,' another possible reference to August.

"The roman numerals at the top translate to 2026, and when it comes to counting what's in the photo, there are seven pumpkins, which leads us to believe the first date of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year will be August 7th!" All Ears said.

Obviously, they were on the right track.
