Stagecoach 2026: Shaboozey surprises fans with new song at pop-up festival saloon

Both the Stagecoach Country Music Festival and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have become know for their specialized pop-up bars, and this year is no different.

Some are hidden, some are right out in the open and sometimes they require a password, but most of the time, security is happy to let you in as long as crowds aren’t an issue.

At Stagecoach, depending on the atmosphere you’re looking for, there’s a little something for everybody, including sweet, sweet air conditioning.

Cherie Lee’s saloon is based on artist Shaboozey‘s upcoming album “The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales” and can be found along a walkway with food vendors behind T-Mobile’s Club Magenta.

Employees at the saloon, which gives off a legitimate old West feel, were passing out Shaboozey bandannas while supplies lasted, which included access to be some of the first to hear part of the new album.

On Saturday, April 25, Shaboozey surprised fans at his saloon, where they were packed in like sardines. The crowd erupted with a roar when the “A Bar Song” singer entered the activation and stood on the bar top, thanking everyone for attending. He said he was moved by the number of people filling the space, and by those waiting in line, which was beginning to extend into the Mane Stage seating areas.

Shaboozey then asked everyone if they’d be interested in listening to a new song that has yet to be released from his upcoming record, “The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales.” As the violinist and a dancer joined him on the bar top, Shaboozey played the song on the speaker, but the crowd’s roars were too loud to hear. Instead, he jumped into the saloon’s main floor with the speaker and carried it around to make sure everyone got a listen, which the crowd didn’t seem to mind.

“The activation serves as an extension of the music itself, transporting visitors into the outlaw world at the heart of Shaboozey’s most ambitious project to date,” according to a news release about the pop-up bar. Inside, attendees can find specialty drinks along with entertainment from a violinist and a pianist.

Nearby, those looking for a more modern vibe can step inside the Syrn Saloon, a bar sponsored by Sydney Sweeney’s lingerie brand, offering cocktails, karaoke for the brave and “classic dive bar games,” plus a giveaway or two.

The night before, the “Euphoria” star was seen at the BigXThaPlug set at the Mustang Stage, flinging underwear from her new brand into the crowd and posing for photos with fans.

On Saturday afternoon, as festivalgoers looked to escape the sun and have some fun before the bigger acts took the stage, the Syrn Saloon was packed, with a few even singing their hearts out to the cheers (and maybe some jeers) of the gathered crowd.

Tucked away behind what appears to be a photo booth at first, labeled Fotoautomatica, is a hidden speakeasy that doubled as the Parisian-themed Golden Hour during Coachella..

After walking through smoke-filled hallways, patrons enter into a quaint little bar filled with fake foliage, fake candles and one very real DJ spinning country music classics.

Despite being a hidden, the speakeasy requires no password and was chill to the tempature and vibe inside. Spealized cocktails were also being served.

Sunday festival goers will also be able to find the Post Malone-themed pop-up, the “Smallest Bar in the West,” prior to the headliner’s set.

The Bud Light x Posty Co. Minis wooden bar was open Thursday through Saturday in Indio.
