Pets have a way of inserting themselves into whatever their humans are doing, and sometimes their help is actually appreciated. TikToker Jianna (@jianny_v) has a Scottish Terrier puppy named Bonnie who spotted her pet parents struggling to move a heavy cabinet and decided to step in, and the moment she captured on video is absolutely adorable.

The clip shows one of Bonnie's humans sliding a heavy cabinet down a hallway using rugs underneath to make it easier to move. The moment the cabinet starts to slide, Bonnie grabs onto a corner of one of the rugs and pulls with everything she's got. It seems like her help really did make all the difference!

We laughed when Jianna joked that Bonnie liked to help with tasks that require zero dogs, and she added in the caption that she "couldn't have done it without her, for real." It's all so relatable to pet parents everywhere!

Bonnie Takes Her Job as Assistant Mover Very Seriously, and People Can't Get Enough

Like us, viewers were impressed with Bonnie's helping skills and left hundreds of comments about it. @Tashnmaya got 18,000 likes when they joked, "She did most of the pulling."

"This is the most helpful I've ever seen a dog, TBH," shared @Kaylan Nicole. @errika offline replied, "LOL! My dog would never!" and another commenter said, "My dog would end up tripping us."

Commenter @lacie gave the puppy an A+ for effort. "Takes initiative. Self-starter. Team player." @_cree_ wondered, "Did Bonnie get compensated or...???"

Dogs are pack animals who naturally help the members of their group hunt, protect, and care for one another. Since our pets consider us part of their pack, it makes perfect sense that they'd want to pitch in, especially when they know that helping usually comes with plenty of praise, affection, and maybe even a treat or two.

K-9 Connect says that training your dog to help with chores, like picking up their toys, is easy and also good for them. It's a great way to keep them mentally stimulated, physically active, and to strengthen your bond with them. Not to mention, you get the cutest furry assistant to help around the house!

They share a few chores you can teach them, but this one was our favorite: getting them to pick up their own toys and put them away.

How to Train:

1. Place a toy in front of your dog.

2. Use the "fetch" command to encourage them to pick it up.

3. Hold a treat over the toy bin and say "drop it."

4. Reward and praise when they release the toy into the bin.

5. Repeat with more toys, gradually phasing out the treat.

When you train your dog to help with household chores, you give them a job to do, and you get a cleaner house!
