Pleasanton's own Batch22 celebrates 20 years of rocking Bay Area

Batch22 is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The members of this pop-rock cover band hail from different areas of the “day job” work world — a surgeon, financial planner, therapist, etc — but their shared passion for music brought them together back in 2006.

The band handles a wide range of material, with setlists that can include such tunes as “Just Like Heaven” by The Cure, “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan, “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC, “Kiss This” by The Struts,” “Heart of Glass” by Blondie, “Save Me, San Francisco” by Train, and, best of all, “Bohemian Like You” by The Dandy Warhols.

The band members are Kris Bergmann on vocals, John Murphy on vocals and keyboards, Andrew Sage on vocals and guitar, Michael Schomaker on guitar, Dave Bell on bass and Mike Racer on drums.

Music fans can catch Batch22 on May 9 at McKay's Taphouse & Beer Garden in Pleasanton. Showtime is 7 p.m. and there is no cover charge, mckaysbeergarden.com.
