Designer fashion brand opens its only Bay Area coffee shop
Ralph’s Coffee, a chain of coffee shops by Ralph Lauren, has opened its first location in Northern California at Palo Alto’s Stanford Shopping Center.
Decked in forest green and white, the cafe adjoins a new Ralph Lauren store at the high-end outdoor mall, and serves up an array of coffee and tea drinks, standard espresso drinks, including draft oat milk lattes, matcha and chai offerings. The coffee is made from blends sourced from La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
The cafe also serves a limited selection of food items like croissants and cookies, soft-serve ice cream, overnight oats and more. A long line spilled out the door Friday afternoon as eager - and, perhaps unsurprisingly, well-dressed - customers waited to place their drink orders and take photos in the cafe’s elegant interior and outdoor patio.
The cafe has locations across the U.S., Asia and Europe; the first of which was in 2014 in New York City. Within the U.S., there are currently eight other locations, four of which are in New York, plus one each in Chicago, Miami, Washington, D.C., and Newport Beach. This is only the second West Coast location.
Specially branded merchandise items from Ralph’s Coffee are also available for purchase at the cafe.
Details: Open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays at 383A Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto; ralphlauren.com
