Animal:Petunia, a 5-year-old, 59-pound, female husky mix.
Where: Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 389 Requeza St., Encinitas. Open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
Adoption fee: $145, including microchip registration, spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society's Department of Animal Services.
Profile:Petunia is friendly, but shy. She walks very well on a leash, likes other dogs and could live with kids 10 and older as long as they respect her space.
