Afterwards, walk back in time with a visit to historic buildings such as the Coast Artillery Museum and Commanding Officer’s Quarters Museum.

Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

1 cup superfine sugar
Lemon zest from 4 lemons
2 tsp. food-grade lavender buds
2 cups lemon juice
1 cup limoncello
1 cup citrus vodka

In heatproof container, combine first 3 ingredients and 1 cup boiling water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature; strain into 1 qt. pitcher. Stir in remaining ingredients and serve over ice. Makes 8 servings.
